The Outdoor Retail Veteran

The Outdoor Retail Veteran

Mike was an original Patagonia customer, as far back as the late-70’s. He started working for Real Cheap Sports in 1999, and is the Real Cheap Sports long-time buyer. He has a long history of travelling to the Outdoor Retailer shows as a store representative to select product. He lived and worked for eight years at Yosemite National Park’s Curry Village Mountain Shop, and started climbing in 1976.

Mike’s outdoor experience goes back to seven years in Boy Scouts where he hiked and camped all of the local trails in our backcountry.  Mike’s top activites outside of climbing include fishing, backpacking, caving and kayaking. He is known in the local disc golf community as “Mau.”  He helped install the Coyote Point course at Lake Casitas.
