Real Cheap Sports delivers a classic small independent outdoor store experience in Ventura, California. Our shop has a rich history as Patagonia’s original outlet store. Yvon and Jeff Chouinard opened Real Cheap Sports in its current location in 1981. Over time, the shop doubled in size, and was sold in 2008 to long time store manager and climber, Tim, and his wife, Ashley, a local hiker. Legendary for its authentically friendly vibe and knowdedgeable staff, our shop offers weekly deals on Patagonia closeouts and retail gear and clothing from top outdoor brands for hiking, camping, climbing, and trail running.
