Morro Strand State Beach

Rock and ocean views, and the sound of the waves at night, make San Luis Obispo County's Morro Strand State Beach a spectacular place to camp.  The three mile long beach is wide, and the sand soft, speckled with sea shells.  A bonus is that town is close, but a bummer is that dogs are not allowed on the beach.  Overall, staying at Morro Strand is a very peaceful experience.
